Food was good, service was a little slow due to the crowded dining room.There are many great places to enjoy dim sum in Flushing, Queens. Valet was the charm and I observed at least 5 spots left and when we came out it was wall to wall cars all over. Hot, tasty, flavorful, plenty little morsels were rolling in steam carts pushed by ladies who serve the tapas style plates, but don’t call it tapas because it is not.Īlso a nice touch was the ordering of hot pots of assorted, meats, pork, chicken, vegetable, and seafood dishes that the ladies dish out in which you carry back to your table, don’t forget to bring your check so they can mark off the purchase that you just made. It’s a large two step area and you get the entire view of the restaurant. The hostess got us a nice table which the hostess called upstairs, but merely it was just a large table for 10 and it was usually where the bride and groom sits on the stage area. I’ve been here in the past, I see only a total of 8 reviews of this large banquet/dim sum restaurant, and the last one was last year around this time so my review is the first of the year.
They should really bump it up to 20% because the staff works so hard too! Restaurant takes credit cards which is a plus! More Gratuity for your meals here whether you are a large party or small is a calculated 18%. one of the East Restaurants but now it's GOOD FORTUNE restaurant and they still serve out yummy Chinese food! Of course prices have gone up thru the years but what hasn't in Flushing? Large valet parking lot in the rear(Please remember to tip the hard working guy! Yes he does get stiffed from time to time(not right!)and he was sharing his grief with me, poor fellow- he works hard for his money! Amost wanted to give him more money but he was thankful for I gave him. We've been to this restaurant for dim sum lunches, dinners with the family, picking up delicious take out whether we desired their wonderful BBQ meats or quick packed buffet meals, and of course countless wedding banquets/baby 1-3 months banquets through the years.
